Puddles, where the remnants of yesterday
Evening rippled, beckon me
To let go of my inhibitions.
Rains! Their pitter patter!
In rapturous joy I had twirled,
Childlike. Alas! They left too soon!
Helpless I feel, as if devoid
Of love. And then, the aroma of petrichor wafts in,
Reigning in hope for good things to come.
