Armed with her trademark poise and grace,
Like the tiniest of tendrils over a winsome face,
The beautiful feline sauntered towards me.
I could have drowned in those emerald green eyes,
As they led me to a world of love, sans any vice.
To the door of my heart she held the solitary key.
In eternal eternity I etched the ethereal moment,
As the green signal to me she lent.
I knew then that red in our bond was never to be.
